    Depending on your nationality and purpose of your stay, you may need a visa to enter the Netherlands. 

    Some nationalities may enter the Schengen area in their visa-free periods for a stay of less than 90 days; others require a visa.

    There are visas for different purposes: Short-term visas (Schengen) and Long-term visas (MVV).
