TB test for permit
In order to obtain a residence permit, certain nationalities must be prepared to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test and – if necessary -treatment. If you submitted the completed “Declaration of intent to undergo a TB test” to the IND together with your application, you must actually undergo a TB test within three months after having received your residence permit.
A list of nationalities that are exempt from having to take a TB can be found at this link.
If required to take the test, you should contact your local Municipal Health Services, GGD, to make the appointment.
The test consists of a chest X-ray or, in some instances, a skin test.
You should bring your passport and completed form “TB test referral form” with you to the appointment.
