At the International Welcome Center North (IWCN), we are dedicated to fostering connections that help internationals in the Northern Netherlands—Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe—access the services and support they need to build a comfortable and fulfilling life in this beautiful region.

Since 2014, IWCN has been a cornerstone for expats, international citizens, and (internationally oriented) companies. We have proudly supported over 35,000 internationals, guiding them through the complexities of life in the North and helping them feel at home.

By becoming an IWCN Service Provider, your business will join our trusted network, offering essential services in English to a rapidly growing international community. This partnership allows you to connect with internationals through our established network, and build lasting relationships with those who are shaping the future of this region.

What do you get by becoming one of our Service Providers?

Visibility and Promotion: Your business will be prominently listed on the IWCN website, complete with your logo, contact details, a short description, and a link to your website.
Client Referrals: The IWCN actively refers potential clients to our Service Providers in response to requests via email, telephone, and in-person visits to our center.
Brand Association: You have the exclusive right to refer to yourself as a “Service Provider of the International Welcome Center North,” adding value to your brand.
Workshops and Webinars: You have the opportunity to host a workshop or webinar organized with the IWCN, providing a platform to share information and showcase your services to internationals.
Event Promotion: Get extra promotion and visibility to your events by placing them on the IWCN’s online event calendar (publication upon request).
Dedicated Support: The IWCN is available to answer your questions and provide information regarding public and private services for internationals, companies, and knowledge institutions.

To be eligible for this program, your company needs:

English Accessibility: Have all relevant company information in English, including your website and client services
Website Link: Have a link on your website that leads to the IWCN website
Legal Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the services you offer.
Partnership Terms: Commit to being an IWCN Service Provider, which partnership is effective for a calendar year and automatically renews each year unless terminated by either party.

FAQ about IWCN Service Providers

How long does the contract last?

Each contract is valid for one calendar year (365 days) and can start at one of four entry points throughout the year: January, April, July, or October (at the beginning of every quarter). As your contract approaches its expiration, within the quarter, we will send you a reminder via email to renew the contract. However, you are welcome to indicate your intention to extend your contract at any time before the renewal reminder is sent.

I have content to be featured on IWCN’s social media. Who do I contact?

If you'd like to be featured on our social media, please send the content to business@iwcn.nl. We will check whether you still have a quota to be published on our social media. Please keep in mind that we schedule different service providers in advance, so it can take up to 5 weeks before your post is published. We will let you know when it will be published.
