    If you want to use formalities services by IWCN, please complete and submit the form below.
    Our Formalities Team will review your request as soon as possible and contact you by email with further information to prepare for the appointment. Please check your email box and spam folders regularly for our email response.

    You can only use our formalities services if you are an EU citizen, or are applying for a resident permit in the following categories: Highly Skilled Migrant, Researcher, Orientation Year, Intra-Corporate Transferee, Start-Up, Self-Employed, EU Blue Card, or family of one of the aforementioned categories.

    However, Bachelor’s/Master’s students from the University of Groningen, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, or Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences can request an appointment for biometrics here.

    Please be aware that a fee may apply for these services (no fees for student biometrics).

    IND appointments (for non-EU citizens) take place at the IWCN on Tuesdays and Thursdays (9:50-12:00, 13:00-16:00).

    We receive IND cards on Tuesdays and Thursdays and then inform the client or their representative of the card arrival by email.

    Municipal appointments (for both EU and non-EU citizens) for the municipalities of Assen, Eemsdelta, Emmen, Groningen, Heerenveen, Het Hogeland, Leeuwarden, Midden-Groningen, Noordenveld, Smallingerland, or Sudwest-Fryslan, take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays (13:30-16:30).

    The IND needs to link biometrics to an active application. If biometrics have been given within the past 6 months, they do not need to be given again.
    This is the number assigned to the international by the IND when the residence permit application is submitted.

    If the international is staying less than 4 months, the international cannot use IWCN services to register as an RNI.
    Usually, we need at least a week to prepare for Municipal appointments. Municipality appointments take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 13:30 - 16:15 hrs. IND appointments take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:50 - 12:00, and 13:00 - 15:50 hrs.
