    Sexual Health

    Any matters related to sexual health you should first consult with your family doctor. You may request a referral to a gynecologist or an urologist.

    The municipal health clinics (Gemeentelijk Gezondheidsdienst – GGD) can provide information and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (seksueel overdraagbare aandoening – SOA). You can also obtain an STD test at most pharmacies. If you are a victim of sexual assault, please call the GGD as soon as possible at 0800 0188 (24/7 service).

    With questions regarding sex, love, relationships, STDs, sexuality, and contraceptives you can find the answers on the Sense website or you can make an appointment with Sense Noord-Nederlands by calling 0900-7367366. They have several locations in Drenthe, Friesland, and Groningen.

    Rutgers WFP is an organization of medical professionals who can offer advice or services regarding all aspects of sexual health (contraception, abortion, pap smears, sterilization, and more).
