BSN Requirements

In order to obtain your BSN at the IWCN, you need to prepare some documents in advance. Check the requirements:

You also need an address located in one of our associated Municipalities. You can prove it by bringing one of the following documents:

A rental/tenancy agreement (which should have already started on or before the IWCN appointment date and is signed by both parties).
A home purchase agreement.
For applicants lodging with someone: a copy of the main occupant's identification and the completed address registration permission form.
For applicants who have permission from their employer to temporarily (less than 3 months) register at the legal street address of the employer: completed address registration permission form from the company (ask the IWCN for this form: formalities@iwcn.nl).

Is there anything else that is important for us to know?

Preferred appointment dates (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Usually, we need at least a week to prepare for Municipal appointments. Municipality appointments take place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and on some Wednesday afternoons from September through November.
