IWCN Connect Open Weeks: Explore Our Events for Free!

    Wed, 2nd of October 2024

We are excited to announce that our next IWCN Connect Open Weeks will start from October 6th to 20th. During these two weeks, many of our exclusive activities will be free, allowing you to connect, learn, and explore our vibrant community. Whether you’re new to the region or have been here for a while, this is your chance to dive deeper into what the North offers and meet fellow internationals and locals along the way.

What to Expect During the Open Weeks

Our events calendar will soon be updated for the Connect Open Weeks and will include all the activities we have in store! Register in time, as high-demand events get filled up quickly. Here’s a sneak peek of the different types of activities you can look forward to:

Informative Webinars: Learn how different systems work in the Netherlands, from taxes to healthcare, in easy-to-follow online sessions. For example, the IWCN’s Info Session: Dutch Customs & Culture.

Social Events: Meet other internationals and locals in relaxed, informal settings. For example, our Karaoke Night Leeuwarden or Groningen Coffee Morning.

Integration Events: Integrating in the Netherlands can be challenging, which is why we offer support through a variety of events and programs. During this IWCN Connect Open Weeks, you can join our Dutch conversation groups (LTD Beginner and LTD B1+), and join us on a bike tour during our FietsFriend Outing.

City Tours and Discoveries: Join us on our city tours to learn more about different cities & get to know hidden gems around the city with our discovery events. For example, our Sneek City Tour or Saturday Discoveries Groningen.

    Why Should You Participate?

The IWCN Connect Open Weeks are not just about networking; they’re about community building and feeling at home in your new home. For internationals, these events will help you settle in more smoothly and start building a social circle. For locals, it’s a chance to welcome new faces, share your experiences, and maybe even discover something new about your city.

To participate, visit the IWCN’s event page for more details and sign up for a free account!

Tip: Use our ‘Type of Event’ filter on our events page to find specific events.
