The Parent Café is more than just a gathering—it’s a place where parents can come to recharge, share, laugh and find solace in each other’s company. And you can see it as a moment dedicated to you, where you can connect with peers and share a nice time. Together with your friends and even your kids!

Semin Hoen, the enthousiastic volunteer organizing the Parent Café, extends a warm invitation to join her for a morning of connection and camaraderie. As an international, mom and even a licenced doula, Semin has a wealth of knowledge and empathy. Her personal journey from Istanbul to Friesland, fuels her passion for supporting others on their paths to parenthood. Because she knows how it is to navigate the complexities of parenthood and wants to help others!

You can even bring your kids! All locations are suitable for kids.

Good to know:

We regularly organize Parent Cafés to help parents find peers and connect.

We will organize this café in Heerenveen, near the train station. After you sign up, we will email you the exact location.

During our Open Weeks (from 6 October to 20 October) a lot of events are free to join—no paid membership is needed during this period! It’s a great opportunity to join our social events, get to know us, and see if becoming a member is right for you! You can find Open Week-events by searching for the Open Weeks-tag.
