Language Cafe

Language Café Leeuwarden was founded by a group of language teachers from Friesland College and NHL Stenden. Every two weeks, dozens of people from various nationalities come together to enjoy a drink and practice languages.

Starting October 2024, Language Café Leeuwarden will open its doors every first and third Thursday evening of the month, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm (except during school holidays). Admission is completely free. The only thing we ask is that you share your (native) language with other attendees. You are welcome to come and go as you please, and you can switch between language tables as often as you like.

Please make a reservation in advance. Admission is free.
