Share your Culture is our new initiative where our diverse and interesting international community can share something from their home country, such as special celebrations and customs.

We want to start the year with the first event in this series by inviting you to join us in exploring the celebration of the Lunar New Year! , one of the most significant traditions in several Asian countries that celebrate the beginning of a new year of the lunar calendar.

This event is in collaboration and hosted by the Taiwan Culture Association and Humanitas.

What to Expect:

A welcoming space to enjoy delicious food—bring a dish you’ve prepared at home or just your happy spirit! (Tips: Watch YouTube to explore the cuisines of countries that celebrate Lunar New Year.)
A brief introduction to the rich traditions of Lunar New Year.
Free entry, with donations warmly appreciated!

Time: Doors open at 17:30 (the chefs are welcome from 16:00)
Location: Humanitas Groningen, Tuinzaal (Akerkhof 22, 9711 JB Groningen)
