Board Game Evening Leeuwarden

We invite you to play board games with us!

Each month volunteers from IWCN organize a Board Game Evening for internationals and friendly locals in Leeuwarden. You are welcome to play along!

Whether you’re new to board games or a seasoned player, our game nights offer something for everyone. We bring a variety of games, from more elaborate ones like Colonists of Catan or Dixit to simple playing cards! But feel free to bring your own games too. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people and enjoy some nice company.

These evenings are relaxed, fun, and open to all ages (18+) and skill levels—come alone or with friends, and discover new games and new faces. Grab a drink, settle in, and let the games begin! Whether you’re looking to unwind after a busy day or seeking friendly competition, our Board Game Evening is the place to be.

Good to know:

During our Open Weeks (from 6 October to 20 October) a lot of events are free to join—no paid membership is needed during this period! It’s a great opportunity to join our social events, get to know us, and see if becoming a member is right for you! You can find Open Week-events by searching for the Open Weeks-tag.

We meet every month. Each session lasts about two hours. Playing board games is great way to relax and build new friendships!

All social events are included for members. Advance registration is mandatory. Drinks and/or snacks are not included.
