Board Game Club Groningen
Board Game Club
Grab your favourite game, bring your competitive spirit and join us in a world of strategy and fun at our new biweekly board game club!
What can you expect? Board games come in many styles, so there’s truly something for everyone – and we encourage you to try them all!
Strategy-based games like Catan let you put your critical thinking to the test as you plan your next move, and social deception games like Mafia/Werewolf require a good poker face and leave you wondering who your real friends are.
Cooperative games like The Pandemic are all about team work to reach a common goal, and of course there’s the classic party-style games like Pictionary or Taboo, which are easy to follow and almost always end in hilarious chaos.
Not sure which game is right for you? Or do you have a game you would like the rest of us to try? Bring it to the next meeting!

About the host: Kruthi has been an expat in the Netherlands for four years, and a board game lover for many more. She recently moved to Groningen from the Randstad, and is looking forward to connecting with like-minded people who share her passion for board games – and those who might grow to love them!
