NHL Stenden Leeuwarden | Social Dutch for Beginners 2

Have you already learned your first words and phrases in Dutch? And would you like to learn to communicate even better with Dutch people? Then this practical beginners’ Social Dutch 2 (A1 – <A2) course is for you.

This course covers all skills: writing, reading, speaking and listening. The emphasis is on speaking, listening and expanding your vocabulary. You will learn to understand simple texts, such as advertisements or menus, and have simple conversations with people around you. You can talk about your work and daily life, give your opinion about daily events or the news and make a short presentation about something that interests you.

Each week,  self-study assignments are given and new topics are covered. In class, you will practice in pairs, small groups, or with the whole group.

Language

The primary  language for the course is Dutch. English will only be used for explanations or when it’s necessary and unavoidable
