Smooth sailing at IWCN’s 2023 Partner Day

The International Welcome Center North visited Leeuwarden for our annual partner summer meeting, and our staff and partners were treated to an incredible two-hour tour through the Frisian capital’s history (and below its very low bridges) along the water provided by Rondvaart Praamverhuur Leeuwarden (complete with some delicious traditional Frisian oranjekoek on board).

Then we were lucky enough to have a reception and tour of the high-tech Wetsus research institute and Water Campus, and a borrel at the Johannes de Doperkerk, a former church which is now one of the most beautiful office spaces in the city.
