Business Consultation for Employers

The International Welcome Center North offers a Business Consultation service to give you advice on the arrangements necessary when hiring an international from outside the European Union, and to help you navigate the required procedures. A session includes:

• Training on your rights and obligations as a recognized sponsor for the Dutch Immigration Service (IND): we will review the actions that you need to do and documents that you need to keep to be compliant.
• Orientation on applying to be a recognized sponsor with the IND: we will review with you a list of documents that you need to provide for becoming a recognized sponsor and review the application form.
• Training on the use of the IND online Business Portal for submitting highly-skilled migrant residence permit applications. You will need to have an e-Herkenning for the organization to use this so it is good to already start the eHerkenning process if you don’t have one. We can review with you how to do this.
• Points to consider when hiring an international: we will provide you with a list of points to consider and answer any questions you may have.

We thus provide general information tailored to your company’s needs, which you can use to take the next steps yourself. This means, for example, that we cannot apply for eHerkenning or recognized sponsorship on your behalf. Another example is applying for residence permits for international employees: we can inform you about the process, but we cannot apply on your company’s behalf i.e. we do not serve as authorized representative. In the latter case, we are happy to refer you to relevant IWCN Service Providers: experts in a range of fields for more specific help.

Business Consultation is a paid package: € 250 per 2-hour session (VAT not applicable). You will receive an invoice immediately after the session.
