PhD Day 2023: “Sustainable paths: Planting seeds of innovation”

PhD Day is an annual event to help new PhDs discover their career options after finishing a piece of research, and includes a number of inspiring keynotes and workshops, as well as the chance to get to know a large range of employers and services in the North. The 10th edition of the PhD Day will take place on the 3rd of February at the MartiniPlaza in Groningen

This year’s program includes a wide variety of keynote speakers, presentations, workshops and 
other activities related to how to build sustainable paths around:
∙Sustainable career paths inside and outside of academia 
∙Sustainable mental health and work-life-balance 
∙Sustainable environment (e.g., climate change and energy) 
∙Sustainableinnovations(e.g.,ArtificialIntelligence)

PhD Day is a one-day career event, targeted to PhD–students, post-docs and companies seeking 
highly-qualified employees and/or exploring potential research collaborations. The objective of the 
event is to help PhD–students broaden their career perspectives through professional networking 
and to give companies an opportunity to present themselves and their profile to potential future 
employees.
